It's a little time consuming to put together that many chairs but it's an easy process. Color was exactly as pictured (I got the dark gray) and they are nice sturdy chairs. I wanted to address the hardness issue that others mentioned. There is a lot of cushion/foam in the seats, but it is very dense. When you initially sit on the chairs you do not sink in (which I think is good for dining chairs) but they are not uncomfortable. My husband even thought they were comfortable and he's really picky on that. Since the cushion is so dense this also means that the chairs will wear well over time.
